Our speakers

Carlotta Viviani, born in Switzerland in 1974, raised in northern Italy, obtained a degree in Russian language and literature from the University of Florence, the city in which she then chose to stay. After various experiences in the private sector (foreign trade and organization of events and conferences for the MICE division) and a Master in Design of public policies and management of local development, she has been working at the Municipality of Florence since 2010 in the field of economic and tourism promotion, as a project manager.

Sonia Pallai is the responsible of the tourism sector in ANCI Toscana supporting the local authorities to develop the Tourism Destination Areas in collaboration with the Tuscany Region and Tuscany Tourism Promotion. She has extensive experience in the development, research, communication, training, management of strategies for tourism destinations and products for public institutions  and enterprises. Sonia provide advice to public and private organizations  on territorial marketing and sustainable tourism, storytelling,  development of destinations, creation of business networks, etc. She has held several training courses to Masters and University students, professionals, tour operators, public institutions (municipal government employees, museum operators and information offices) on tourism related issues.

Besnik Mehmeti has a distinguished expertise and a winning track record in securing and managing EU funded projects. He provides strategic advisory and funding opportunities to local and regional administrators, communities and businesses. His core areas are the promotion of innovation, technological development, entrepreneurship, creative and cultural industries. His ability to master complex and multilateral partnerships and initiatives led to the successful development and implementation of several innovative actions and partnerships at local and regional level.
