Session 1

Session 2

For social value-oriented projects it is crucial to be able to measure and communicate the impact they are creating (or will create); both for bringing possible investors on board, and evaluating internally whether you are fulfilling your initial intentions in terms of social change.

To address this task, the TUDelft team together with Tavistock Institute and members of the Civimetro initiative (winner of the DESIGNSCAPES open call for Scaling), have developed a training module to focus on key aspects of evaluation: e.g., making explicit what are measurable outcomes that show your project’s impact, understanding how and through which metrics intangible outcomes could be translated into a tangible result, unveil specific obstacles in the evaluation of your projects, informing the selection of more appropriate self-evaluation tools.

The training is structured in two interactive workshops. The first session helps define the impact and outcomes achieved by innovators from the initiatives selected within the DESIGNSCAPES program within their projects, and how these could be successfully measured into tangible metrics. The second session draws from the expertise of Tavistock Institute and Civimetro’s members to introduce a set of selected tools and resources to self-evaluate projects’ impact.
