Training Module on Communication & Engagement with Stakeholders

Trainers: Alicia Calderón González and Alberto Magni from Delft University of Technology

Embedding an innovative project in a context means getting to know and engaging with the population and stakeholders present there. This task results even more complex when replicating to a new city, as the stakeholder group to engage is likely new to the initiative team. To address this key project phase the TUDelft team set up a Training Module to explore with urban innovators the challenges and capabilities related to empathic understanding of local communities and stakeholders, user research, communication and engagement strategies.

The training entails an interactive and highly dialogic workshop, building up from the experiences in practice of two initiatives selected in the DESIGNSCAPES program, to reflect on these and ultimately draw lessons and insights applicable in urban innovation projects.

The discussion in the session is partially conducted in Italian.
